Hello again!

Just wanted to say hi again, see how everybody's doing.  See our first discussion here if you haven't yet.

I mean, that's what Corona' Chronicles is here for . . . just letting us know how you're doing in this--I even hate to write it this way—Corona' virus era.

If you want to contribute an article for discussion, please forward an email to me at: mister.write.disqus@gmail.com.  Or find the great Laura J. here.  As Blogger is basically run by Google, you will need a gmail address in order to start discussion.  Of course, our commenting platform is Disqus.

We've had great comments already, if you wanna check out our first discussion.

I could get into, what?  The whole science of it, that is if you're not tired of being able to switch on the flat screen/TV and see some news discussion already going on, unless your streaming starts right up.  Could get into conspiracies of the whole thing (heh, I'm not stopping ya.  But, I DO subscribe to how these kinds of "invisible enemies" almost certainly have to rear its very ugly head every so often).  Could get into the science of it, cite sources, charts, etc.

And we'll probably get into that at some point.

For now, I'd rather just stay on the human side.  Tell us how you're feeling.  You're probably not alone in that feeling.  But, who cares if you are the only one; maybe you can give us an angle the rest of us haven't considered.

Heh.  Tell us what you're eating in your bunker.  Trying new recipes?  How about take out?  What kind of take out are you getting?

Just express.  Post a video if you want.

This is not the end of us, as if I have to say.  We can talk about stuff here—that's how we can really fight this thing.

Tell your Blogger and/or Disqus pals about our 'site here.

Take care for now!

Welcome to Corona' Chronicles . . .

First off . . . yes, I SHOULD be working on the The Write Way and Ethics Blog 'sites (both of which use Disqus commenting system, as you know).

But.  We are at a funny time in our lives, no?

And it's not our fault.  That's the one thing to keep in mind.  It's not our fault.  I'd add "and those who ARE at fault are not welcome to this blog" but that would only show how many Punisher comic book issues compilations that I'm re-reading nowadays.

So . . . here's the Corona' Chronicles blog.  I debated whether calling it, "Disaster Blog," you know, for future (inevitable?) threats to mankind.  But, I figured for as long as we will express our feelings about such threats, we should remember what kicked it off from the 2020s and beyond.

We can go into various discussions along the way (for this first "part," until some kind of vaccine arrives for Covid-19) including:

  • No date, no "09/11/2001" no "12/07/1941" . . . indeed, no real day that lives in infamy for Corona'.  Does that CHANGE how we think of disaster/threats to mankind

  • Making masks.  Yes.  You never thought cosplay could be so important.

  • How you're spending time inside.  I almost hate to admit it (and it's probably because I am mostly a homebody, like to read and such; only real thing I do outside is attend church.  Yay.  The exciting Mister_Write) but it's kind of fun in quarantine.  I can work from home (the five minutes waking up before getting into my home "office" is a hoot) to more naps and more cooking practice.  More reading.

  • And more . . . well, MORE.

And so, here it is . . . a place where we can express how we feel about "the most recent terrible event in history that we must weather"--it's sad that we have this.  But, when you think about it . . . all current and previous generations have seen this before.

Before I forget to say . . . let me know what you think of the 'site.  Yes.  It is very basically.  I wanted some happy colors to greet you, initially.  I didn't wanna bombard with visuals.  Heck.  We gotta get-the-proverbial-it out, don't we.  So write away!

For those and for those of us barely into such matters . . . let's start writing our expressions and history about it.
